Job Title: Finance Intern

Location: Camberwell, VIC

Duration: 3 Months

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparing and analyzing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Support the finance team with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Conduct research and provide insights on financial trends and metrics.
  • Helped reconcile accounts and financial discrepancies.
  • Participate in financial modeling and data analysis projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance department as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve financial practices.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong academic performance with coursework in financial analysis, accounting, or statistics preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications; familiarity with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Practical communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Prior internship or work experience in finance or accounting is advantageous but not required.
