Position Title: IT Business Analyst Intern
Reports To: IT System Analyst/IT Administrator

Purpose

The IT Business Analyst Internship provides an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with advanced business systems such as Odoo (ERP) and Product Information Management (PIM). As an intern, you will be key in streamlining business processes by documenting standard operating procedures, creating process flowcharts, and conducting detailed analyses to recommend process improvements.

Performance Areas

IT Related:

  • To enhance system efficiency and user understanding, assist in developing and documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and detailed flowcharts for Odoo (ERP) processes.
  • Create comprehensive flowcharts for the Product Information Management (PIM) system, supporting product data accuracy and management.
  • Perform in-depth gap analyses of current business processes to identify inefficiencies and propose innovative solutions for improving workflows.
  • Analyze business data to provide actionable insights, empowering data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining SOPs for the company website, contributing to optimizing web-based processes.
  • Contribute to automating manual processes in HR and Sales, enhancing operational efficiency through modern tools and methodologies.

General:

  • Collaborate with various departments to gather requirements, ensuring alignment and support for business process improvements.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects, providing support and input to ensure the successful completion of key initiatives.
  • Take ownership of tasks, proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements within your area of responsibility.
  • Support the department by performing other necessary duties to ensure smooth and effective operations.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, IT, Systems Analysis, or a related field.

Skills:

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to create process flow diagrams and write clear SOPs.
  • Understanding of ERP systems (experience with Odoo is a plus).
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.
  • Product knowledge, ERP/CRM knowledge.
